CELEBRATE THE BEAUTY AND CREATIVITY OF THE FILIPINO SOLE THIS VALENTINE'S DAY at the 5F Bridgeway of the SM Megamall Atrium in Ortigas, Pasig City.
Five finalists will be selected and a Grand Winner will be awarded a brand new WACOM Intuos and, as a bonus, his/her mentor will also receive a WACOM Bamboo tablet!
Judging the best soles include model and former Bb. Pilipinas, Ms. Marina Benipayo; shoe designer and president of Figlia Shoes, Mr. Joey Enriquez; renowned artist, Leeroy New; teleserye star, Mr. Ricardo Cepeda, and model, top blogger and Fox Sports courtside reporter, Janeena Chan and WACOM Creative Director Rommel Celespara!
Beautiful Soles were sent in from as far off as Sorsogon and used materials as innovative as scrap fabric, recycled paper, and G.I. wire. Watch out for the stunning soleful creations by the next generation of shoe designers. More than ten soles will be hailed as the very best and will be exhibited at the 5F Bridgeway of the SM Megamall Atrium in Ortigas, Pasig City.
This contest was launched last October 2013 and put to test the creativity and design skills of the Filipino youth. Participants were tasked to design and create a shoe prototype with the theme ‘Self-Expression’ in mind.
Brought to you by Charter International, Inc., the makers of Philippines’ premier ladies fashion shoe label. This event is also co-presented by Team Wacom Philippines, SM Megamall, Yoshinoya, Traffic Footwear, and the Red Root Artists Cooperative.
